A Print Angel is someone who is enthusiastic about exceptional service, has high standards of quality and someone who thrives on making professionals look professional.
CUSTOMER SERVICE:
Laura has always had a strong customer service ethos and always wanted to work with companies to take their customer service to the next level in order to improve their reputation and ultimately, their front line. Laura has headed up service centres nationally for Bensons for Beds and internationally, for Kingsdown, improving customer satisfaction and retention by ensuring that these large companies do not lose their small business mentalities.
NETWORKING:
Laura enjoys getting out and about to meet new people within Derby’s thriving networking community. Still relatively new to the networking scene, just over a year in, Laura brings a fresh perspective and a high energy to networking events. Laura is involved in a number of networking events and groups, including helping to run the Derby Networking Club – so if you’d like to come along to the next meeting with our Print Angel, give her a call on 01332 418377.
GET TO KNOW YOUR PRINT ANGEL:
Do you have a nickname?
Yes, The Print Angel, of course!
Would you bungee jump?
No. I would definitely sky dive, but there’s something about bungee jumping that makes me very afraid!
What’s the first thing you notice about people?
Their eyes and their accent.
What was the last ‘tune’ you bought?
Brokenhearted by Karmin. Check them out on YouTube if you’ve not heard of them!
Who’s your hero?
Without question, my Dad.
What’s your favourite food?
Tricky.. I’m a bit of a foodie. Probably grilled Sea Bass.
Where is the furthest you have been from home?
North Carolina, USA. And it was absolutely fantastic.
What’s the least favourite thing about yourself?
I am dangerously and somewhat embarrassingly competitive to the point where none of my family and friends want to play board games with me. Oh dear…
What’s your favourite printed item?
Business Cards! I love the varying styles and designs. I’m fascinated by the Business Card culture in Japan. The presentation of a “meishi” (business card) in Japan is much more formal and ritualistic. I also have a special place in my heart for a Spot UV finish.
Do you have a special talent?
I’m not sure you’d call it a talent, but my party piece is doing ‘Ice Ice Baby’ by Vanilla Ice on the karaoke.
Do you have Twitter?
Yes! I love Twitter. It’s @ThePrintAngel. (Our company Twitter is @essentialprint – check it out for news, reviews and competitions!)
Any pearls of wisdom?
I’ll share one of my favourite quotes. “Whether you think you can, or think you can’t; you’re right.” Henry Ford.
